Cynostane (2-cyano-17a-methyl-17b-hydroxy-androst-3-1) is an anabolic compound with remarkably low androgenic action, making it qualitatively similar to Epistane. It is non-aromatizing meaning it will not produce estrogen mediated side effects and its high degree of anabolic action makes it a favourable choice for athletes concerned with losing bodyfat while maintaining, or increasing, muscle mass. While Epistane reportedly gives sore joints, cynostane does not have this effect. Users found that they gained more weight and strength on cynostane than epistane. Bloodwork conducted by users shows that Cynostane has a more favourable effect on blood lipids, and liver values than epistane. Although feedback to date is limited, the combination of low androgenic action, lack of aromatization to estrogen, and low level of general health effects, makes cynostane a compound producing very little, if any, side effects in comparison to other PHs.
The second compound in eStrength-3 is 2a,17a-dimethyl-17B-Hydroxy-5a-androstan-3-one. Because it's 5a-reduced and a-ring alkylated, the compound will not aromatize into estrogen. This has the favorable effect of reducing side effects and keeping water retention/bloating to a minimum. To provide maximum bio availability in the oral form, the substance is methylated (a.k.a. 17-alpha alkylated) and thus can't easily be broken down by the liver and therefore absorption is higher, ultimately resulting in greater gains. This compound binds to muscle cell receptor sites and causes a significant increase in protein synthesis leading to muscle cell growth/hypertrophy! Additionally, it exhibits anti-catabolic properties, reducing the effects of cortisol, leading to less protein loss from muscle cells. Muscle growth is induced because the anabolic effects (protein synthesis) exceed the catabolic effects (cortisol induced protein release from muscle cells) - and anabolic effects dramatically enhanced - this means muscle growth is much greater! Also, this compound exhibits properties that help to reduce body-fat while simultaneously increasing muscle density and hardness.
